Fall Box Swap Reveal

Happy Halloween  and Feliz Dia de los Muertos!  The year is going by fast!  Before we know it, the winter holidays will be here and we’ll be celebrating a new year.  But let’s not think about that right now.  Let’s just slow things down a bit and enjoy what we have left of fall!Fallboxswap.BeFunky Design.jpgSpeaking of fall, I just participated in the Fall Box Swap hosted by Dean of Mrs. AOK and Ashley of Happy.Pretty.Sweet!  The #SPBoxSwap is a seasonal swap for bloggers and it’s such a great way to get to know others and spread a little sunshine!

I was super psyched to be paired with Dean of Mrs. AOK who is a blogger that I have actually had the pleasure of meeting and can definitely call a dear friend.   I had so much fun shopping for Dean!  I was like a kid in a candy store!  🙂  I found so many good things, it was hard to narrow down.  You can check out what I got for her here!fallswapmainMy lovely package arrived with all these goodies that had me grinning from ear to ear.  I love how Dean numbered the order for me to open my gifts with an explanation of how it fit into the fall theme.fallswapcandle (1).jpgHappy Friendsgiving!  Scents of the Harvest…pumpkin, cinnamon, and maple!  Yum!fallswap2A little something to represent both pumpkin and apple pie!fallswapcornCorn was served at the first Thanksgiving and this Skinny Pop popcorn aims to please.  A token of friendship with a handmade painting from the creative herself…Thanks Dean!  🙂fallswapcup.BeFunky CollageAnd what’s Halloween without some candy!  An assortment of chocolates from Ghirardelli and Milky Way is always a good choice!  Some sugar skulls to represent Halloween and Dia de los Muertos as well!fallswapall2.jpgThank you Dean!!!  You are AWESOME!  I loved everything about this swap and I’m looking forward to the next one!

  3. That looks like a great falls box. I did 3 swaps last year and was so disappointed. One didn’t send anything, one never did a post about it even tho I went overboard and spent like $100 (whoops). It was kinda a bust so I am taking a sabbatical.

    1. Ahh, that sucks! I was dubbed once. I sent a well thought out gift and never heard a word from my partner. It really disappointed me. I messaged her several times…facebook, twitter, etc… and she just blocked me. Never spend that much money again, you hear me… 🙂

  5. Yay!! I’m glad you enjoyed your box. I had such a fun time finding goodies for you. I keep finding things that I wish I would’ve added. 🙂
    So how are the cookies? The kids wanted to try them, but I had to keep reminding them they were for Ms. Lowanda. 🙂
    The popcorn is awesome, right?!?!
    Anyway, it was such a pleasure to be your partner.

    1. Hey!! Yes, I loved my box of goodies and had so much fun shopping for you! I can’t wait to see your reveal post because you are so creative! I didn’t have time to place notes on each item, but I hope you share some treats with the kids and I hope the props came in handy! The cookies are good and by the look of things, my son thinks so too! I will be having the popcorn as a snack soon or one evening when I’m watching TV.

      I’m so glad your blog is up and running again. I noticed a couple of times it would say your site was unsecure, but I just dismissed it. If I see that again, I’ll let you know.
