We just recently celebrated National School Counseling Week. This year’s theme was, “School Counselors: Helping Students Reach for the Stars,” to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. National School Counseling Week, sponsored by the American School Counseling Association, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. National School Counseling Week is always celebrated the first full week in February. (Source)

I had someone thank me today and I generally have one of my Wednesday kiddos always say thank you. I know she means it and it’s heartfelt. Granted I am not a school counselor but I work both in my office, daycares and schools. So it’s the best of all the world’s

What a fantastic week! I’m sure it was great to hear what students think of their school counselors. I went to a catholic school, so we never really had a counselor which is unfortunate.

Timely indeed. I was just talking about Courage with a group of students today, our character word of the month. They talked about how courageous it is for the students of Florida to fight for new laws and how they responded in the face of tragedy. Thanks for stopping by.
