It’s been quite awhile since I’ve written a Currently post. So, I thought I’d catch you up on what’s been going on in my life lately. I’m joining Anne In Residence with her monthly, Currently link-up, so be sure to check out what she and others are up to as well.

Watching: Hunted…Have you seen it? Fugitive pairs risk it all by dropping everything in hopes of winning $250,000. Are these real fugitives? Naw, these are everyday people like you and me who are going off the grid trying to evade capture from top investigative detectives for 28 days. Its a nail-biting, high-action, cat and mouse chase across the southeast region of the US that keeps me on the edge of my seat every week. If you like investigative drama then you would love #HUNTED!

Eating: Too much chocolate. I received a lot of love and a lot of chocolate for Galentine’s Day and Valentine’s Day.
Saying: “IT’S TOO EARLY FOR THIS!” Spring has entered the Carolina’s in full blast. Flowers already blooming and pollen spotted as early as February 1st. Mother Nature…What gives???? Do you not remember how much I suffered last year because of this? Give me a break. Thank goodness, I have an awesome Allergist who has me set up on the perfect regimen and is keeping my hives at bay.
Wearing: Surprisingly, warm weather clothes and open-toed shoes because our weather for most of the month has been in the high 70s! Its’ insane!
Posting: Last month was February, so all of my posts focused around the season of love. Being single, I wanted to share activities that other single ladies could participate in for Valentine’s Day. Who says you have to have a love interest to enjoy Valentine’s Day? The next post featured gifts any lady would love to receive on that special day. I participated in a Galentine’s Day swap. More specifically known as the Sweet Progress Winter Galentine’s Day Swap. It’s part of the quarterly #SPBoxSwap series hosted by Dean of Mrs. AOK and Ashley of Happy Pretty Sweet. And finally, I comprised a list of top love songs for all stages of love! Hope you enjoy!
So what are you currently up to? Share with me below!
Popping over from the Currently linkup! First, I love the name of your blog! Weather: is this nuts or what? I live near Savannah, and it’s crazy warm and pollen-y down here! Hunted: Girl, you’ve made me all kinds of curious about this show! I’m going to have to check it out! I’m also eager to click through some of your recent posts that you mentioned here! Have a great day!

Hey there, thanks for stopping by! I’m glad you love the name; its came from my two favorite symbols! It rained last night and this morning I noticed the pollen was rinsed to the end of the driveway. Then I was upset that I park my car in my garage because it could have gotten a good rinsing last night. 🙂 I think there is only one week left for Hunted, so if you can On-Demand it…do so! It is AWESOME! Take care! 🙂

I love Galentine’s Day – how fun to do a swap! And while I’m happy to have spring come as early as possible I can see that it would be a big hassle with allergies… Thanks for linking up!

Thanks for hosting the link up! Yes, the swap was awesome! You should join us for the next one! I’m doing much better with my allergies, but the pollen just makes it worst. Thanks for stopping by!

It has cooled down this weekend. Low 40s at night, but mid 60s during the day. So, it’s still not too bad.

That tree is a stunning color of red! How sad that you have such allergies but I’m glad you have it under control.

Thank you and I’m so thankful to have the right regimen. Last year was miserable. Don’t much better now. Isn’t the tree gorgeous? Thanks for stopping by!

Haha I love that I wrote about being so ready for warm weather to finally get here and you wrote about not being ready for the heat! Although that totally makes sense because the “warm weather” I’m referring to is probably about 60 degrees or so. 😉 If it were warm enough for short sleeves and flip flops right now I would not be excited about it!

Lol, well guess what? Today, our high was 46 degrees and tonight it will be 28 degrees! I won’t complain about the warm weather any more! I’m freezing now! Truly bipolar weather. I was in Charlotte this weekend and they got snow on Saturday! Thanks for stopping by!

I did pretty good with the chocolate until one of my kids left a reeses heart lying around too long and I ate the rest! Have you ever tried taking two spoonfuls of local honey each day to combat your allergies? I’m sure you have…it’s something I just found out about this past year and especially if we travel somewhere with different outdoor life I always stop now and pick some up.

Lol! Darn kids! Yes, I take honey daily. I am allergic to all trees…so this time a year with all the pollen is miserable for me. I’m doing much better this year than I was last year. Only broke out in hives 2 days this season…last year, this time, I broke out every day for 30+ days till we got the right regimen. I love raw honey.

Nice to have the early spring weather and allow for sandals and summer clothes. 🙂

Oh oh…sounds like you are in a wintery state. Hope the weather isn’t too bad where you are and yes, it is so nice because I don’t really like all the bulky clothes.

Currently I find myself in the same problem with the chocolate :)) Maybe it has to do something with the coming of the spring 🙂

I totally found your blog in such a round about way but I love it! The name is great! I’m in the Charleston area and the lack of winter is killing my allergies, too. Remember last year? More of the same. I haven’t had a break in TWO YEARS. What gives? I hope this is the end of no winter for SC. Anyway, I’m about to start following you via Twitter. 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
